Business Need / Purpose of Role:

Ensures the department is directed to the best possible result with the preparation and the advanced manufacturing engineering of production.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to optimize production efficiency quality and safety including automation material handling tools fixtures templates aides and jigs.

• Owner of the Manufacturing BoM and routing for standard product.

• Owner of the Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis for standard product.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineering (DFMA) production and quality assurance to develop and implement new products or processes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity reduce waste and improve overall operational performance.

• Monitor and analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Specifically responsible to ensure data availability at a machine or assembly level.

• Ensure compliance with company policies regulatory requirements and industry standards to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.

• Manage and oversee the implementation of new equipment technologies and automation systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency. This specific request relates to the introduction of AM tyre servicing in Binhu for the regions so includes cutover of orders from Venlo; planning in Binhu including working with production and CAM planning; qualification of first articles; complex lifting solutions and packaging as of AM tyres.

• Develop and manage the tyre manufacturing budget ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.

• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new technologies materials and equipment to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.

• Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing issues troubleshoot problems and optimize production output.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor or above

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.

• Good English ability in reading writing and speaking.

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly methods machining fabrication and automation. Specifically should understand how to program the robotic system.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams suppliers and customers.

• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO standards.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in manufacturing operations.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and metrics to drive process improvements and optimization.
