Are you the right fit
- Able to plan develop and deliver fun inclusive ageâappropriate programs
- Able to coordinate daily schedules special events and field trips while ensuring camper safety
- Skilled at supervising mentoring and supporting staff and volunteers
- Create inclusive spaces and maintain a safe supportive camp environment.
- Communicate with parents/guardians providing updates and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate records (attendance incident reports staff schedules etc.)
- Demonstrate strong problemâsolving skills flexibility and the ability to adapt in a fastâpaced environment
What else do you need
- 2 years experience working with children or youth (camp recreation or similar setting)
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role (staff or volunteers
- Standard First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to support inclusive practices and create welcoming spaces for all campers
- Knowledge of safety risk management and child wellbeing practices
- Strong organization and administrative skills
ASSETS
- Postâsecondary education in recreation child development education or related field
Additional childâ or youthâfocused certification
