Role description:

• Embrace and demonstrate the Arcadis behavioral framework in your day-to-day work.

• Be a key contributor to project success by completing assigned tasks on time within budget ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice while always aiming to exceed client expectations.
• Duties may include but are not limited to electronic or manual drafting developing sketches conducting research and data collection preparing presentations report writing constructing models performing calculations basic analysis mapping rendering and assembling image boards.
• Preparation of sections and details producing design and construction documents. Revises and updates drawings as requested by others.
• Take ownership of your work by reviewing it carefully to ensure it meets the required standards before its shared with others.
• Bring a strong technical mindset to the role this is at the heart of what makes you effective and valuable.
• Work to ensure maximum internal stakeholder satisfaction championing care and proactively working with internal stakeholders (GEC Team Lead/Task Manager GEC Project Leads from other disciplines (MEP & Structures) and US & Canada Project Leads/Reviewers/Approvers.
• Can execute or assists in Design tasks independently from Lead (US/ Canada) Office
• Can initiate concept ideas and later produce technically feasible general arrangement layouts and detailed drawings as per codes and design requirements using BIM (SD to CD)
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of the services delivered by Arcadis and the industry sector to facilitate personal networking and to consolidate personal and company credibility in the industry.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from other countries primarily in the North America and Europe. As we adopt a One Team approach clear and consistent communication is essential to maintaining the quality and integrity of our project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Architecture with a strong background in design documentation.
• Proven competence in design and planning with the ability to effectively coordinate across multiple disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential to this role.
• Data Center Industrial and/or Mixed-use project experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of US & Canada design codes is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows is required. Hands-on Revit project experience is essential.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite Dynamo proficiency is a plus.
• Strong command in written and spoken English is essential.
• Open-mindedness and enthusiasm for contributing to the teams digital initiative and process automation efforts.
