Were growing our team of Kitchen Hands and are looking for enthusiastic Kitchen Hands/Kitchen Porters to join our Hospitality & Events this vital support role youll be playing a key part in the smooth delivery of catering services across the Parliamentary precinct.

The Parliamentary Hospitality & Events team showcases premium New Zealand hospitality delivering memorable experiences across Parliament through venues such as Huihui events Copperfields Café Pint of Order bar and Bellamys.

The Kitchen Hand role contributes to the teams success by:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Support highprofile service by keeping dishes and kitchen equipment impeccably clean and ready for use.
  • Receiving unpacking and storing deliveries accurately and efficiently.
  • Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Events team to ensure seamless event service delivery.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and enjoys hands-on work. If you are dependable proactive and have a keen eye for detail youll fit right in.
