Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant / Manager in Finance Transformation you will play a pivotal role in driving impactful change within the financial services sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading accounting and finance transformation projects including implementing and migrating finance GL systems enhancing internal controls and improving finance process efficiency.
- Collaborating with IT and finance professionals to optimize people processes and systems in high-performing teams.
- Ensuring best practices in accounting SOPs and finance processes are implemented and adhered to across regional entities.
- Designing and delivering finance reporting platforms and integrating them with core systems.
- Managing change and transformation initiatives within finance departments to achieve operational excellence.
Ideal Talent
We are looking for mission-driven professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in management consulting and/or project management within the financial services industry.
- A strong understanding of regulatory and accounting changes impacting the sector.
- Proven expertise in delivering business transformation projects finance transformation initiatives and financial process analysis.
- Exceptional project and change management skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Outstanding analytical interpersonal and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- An audit background (advantageous but not mandatory).
Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will include:
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Leading workshops and training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Contributing to the firms R&D initiatives such as the Institute and FinLab to drive innovation and thought leadership.
