DCI is looking for a versatile engineer to focus on our data integration efforts while providing steady support for our core legacy this role you will work alongside other developers to build and maintain the digital pipes that connect our internal systems with our customers and trading partners. Location: Tampa FL or Channelview TX Only candidates in these areas will be considered.
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of at least three days per week in our Channelview or Tampa office. Some travel (<20%) may be required.
Responsibilities
Integration Development (85%): Gather requirements develop test and deploy point-to-point and multipoint integrations using AWS.
Application Maintenance (15%): Provide ongoing support bug fixes and minor enhancements for legacy Core websites.
Collaborative Delivery: Participate in code reviews technical documentation and team stand-ups to ensure integration patterns are consistent and scalable.
AWS Support: Assist in managing integration workflows within our AWS environment (Lambda EventBridge S3)
Partner Coordination: Collaborate with technical counterparts at our trading partners to troubleshoot connectivity and data flow issues.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in the US for any employer we are unable to sponsor at this time.
- Education: Bachelors Degree in CS Engineering or a related technical field.
5 years of professional software development experience.
Experience working within AWS cloud environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex data transformations and API connectivity issues.
Solid programming skills in C# and framework.
Strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building integrations with Boomi or Mulesoft.
AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
Experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker/ECS/Fargate).
