Job Summary

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours per Week
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $83/hour
Total Weekly Gross: $2912
Weekly Stipend: $2030
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn NY. The ideal candidate will have strong general ultrasound experience and the ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
This position requires clinical expertise professionalism and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdomen pelvis thyroid breast and small parts.
Prepare and properly position patients for imaging procedures.
Explain procedures to patients and address basic questions to ensure comfort and understanding.
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical settings for optimal image quality.
Capture and document accurate high-quality diagnostic images.
Recognize normal versus abnormal findings and communicate preliminary observations to physicians.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Monitor patient condition including taking vital signs when required.
Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols at all times.
Required Qualifications
Minimum general ultrasound experience required.
Prior experience working as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Ability to take and document vital signs.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Additional relevant certifications preferred.
