The Support Technician performs a wide range of advanced analytical administrative and technical support activities for functional areas (i.e. Finance Purchasing Human Resources etc.) or for specific project/business/technical unit. This role has several assignments that may involve work of a confidential nature and require knowledge of the practices and procedures of the function business unit and company policies and may act as liaison between customers / employees and department plans / position is primarily responsible for varied or specialized transactional duties related to a program or major functional area of the department.

1) Performs activities to support the administration coordination analysis communication development design testing and/or implementation of department programs plans and tracks and maintains appropriate documentation for functional area department tools guides matrices and other supporting materials.
2) Consults with team members on informational collects records tracks and verifies data and information from multiple data and information to others on functional area processes and procedures.
3) Researches compiles reviews analyzes manipulates and summarizes data to create a wide variety of reports charts and presentations for management review meetings and events.
4) Serves as user support for departments computer-based systems by generating reports/queries and maintaining in the testing and implementation of systems to enhance and support business processes and information software and various computerized systems for functional area to compile and generate reports statistics timelines tables graphs correspondence and related documentation queries and/or department databases containing confidential information to ensure compliance with federal regulations and corporate policies.
5) Examines transactions or information to insure compliance with rules and discrepancies with appropriate contacts.
6) Troubleshoots problems with departmental office equipment (i.e. computers printers copiers etc.) and initiates others in the use of departmental office equipment.
7) Provides orientation work direction or training to other administrative support positions in the department when necessary.
8) Coordinates event planning responsibilities for department meetings training sessions and conferences when program agenda and services according to customer services for events and arranges availability of audio-visual equipment transportation displays catering signage printing and other event planning meetings prepares communication and documents as event progress and makes modifications/changes as event bills for accuracy.
Onsite: Requires work to be performed in the field and/or at an APS facility. Depending on the responsibilities of the role this may include but is not limited to working at a power plant job site or in the community.
