As a Locum CRNA you will play a critical role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to excellence in patient care ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of anesthesia management.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and respond to any changes
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management solutions
- Document all anesthesia-related procedures and patient interactions
- Adhere to safety and compliance protocols in all aspects of anesthesia care
- Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and best practices
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical skills and experience in anesthesia management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Experience with various anesthesia techniques and equipment
Flexible Schedule: 8 10 or 12-hour shifts
No call
Cases: General surgery neonates and pediatrics vascular OB trauma orthopedic neuro (heads and spines) thoracic urology gynecologic ENT endoscopy ophthalmology and plastics preferred
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
