I am currently hiring for a large regional public hospital in Western Australia offering an exceptional opportunity for a Paediatric Registrar to join a well-established and highly respected paediatric department.
This is an ideal role for a registrar looking to consolidate clinical experience build procedural confidence and work closely with senior specialists in a collaborative teaching-focused environment.
The Hospital & Department
This is a major regional referral hospital servicing a large and diverse catchment area across regional WA.
The Paediatric Department includes:
Consultant Paediatricians with broad subspecialty interests
A dedicated paediatric ward
Special Care Nursery support
Active involvement in outreach and regional health services
Strong multidisciplinary collaboration
Excellent exposure to acute and complex presentations
You will gain valuable experience managing a wide spectrum of paediatric cases with meaningful responsibility and direct consultant supervision.
The Role
As an Advanced Trainee Registrar you will:
Manage inpatient and outpatient paediatric cases
Participate in on-call and acute paediatric presentations
Work closely with experienced consultant paediatricians
Be involved in teaching case discussions and service development
Gain broad regional exposure not always available in metro centres
