Test Engineer

What to Expect:

You will work in a multi-functional team with the following areas of responsibility:

• Create detailed comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Design develop implement and maintain test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Estimate prioritize plan and coordinate testing activities
• Help in troubleshooting issues. When necessary report issues and errors to the colleagues developing the solution
• Collaborate with your team members (including product owner) for these activities being an active member of the multi-functional teams ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

What will make you successful:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• 3 years of experience in software delivery ideally in Quality Assurance. Graduates with no professional experience may be considered for the role too.
• Analytical skills solutions oriented and problem-solving attitude.
• Technical knowledge in Operating Systems (Linux commands) and Database technologies (incl. SQL).
• Testing background with experience or knowledge of following will be taken into consideration:
• Test automation tools (Cucumber Robot Framework Jmeter Jenkins)
• API testing tools (Postman)
• Test management tools (e.g. JIRA X-Ray)
• Experience in Agile and Scrum development is an asset.
• Testing methodology certification (for example: ISTQB) is a plus
• Knowledge of financial message standards (ISO20022 FIN) is a plus
