Refrigeration Technician
Pay is BOE
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for operation and maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system HCFC systems hot water air compressors waste treatment operations and their safe and efficient operations. Must be able to understand and work within the rules and standards of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP). Must have a foundational knowledge in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical electrical refrigeration and other systems under the areas of assigned responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Formal training from an HVAC Technical School is a plus. RETA and IIAR Ammonia Refrigeration training is preferred. Experience: 1 years Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration and equipment room experience in a food plant preferred; experience in the HVAC industry a plus; industrial maintenance experience a plus.
