Are you a commercially savvy Financial Manager ready to step in take ownership and drive financial control in a dynamic project-driven environment
A growing and operationally focused business in the energy and infrastructure space is looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to join their team on a 3-month contract. This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact strengthen controls and support leadership with clear data-driven financial insight.
What this role is about:
Youll take full responsibility for the finance function from strategic planning and reporting to procurement oversight BOQ accuracy and cash flow management. This is a visible high-impact role suited to someone confident detail-driven and comfortable operating across finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning budgeting forecasting and KPI reporting
- Oversee month-end and year-end processes financial statements and tax compliance
- Manage procurement vendor negotiations and inventory/stores controls
- Ensure accuracy and cost alignment within the BOQ process
- Drive cash flow management working capital optimisation and treasury oversight
- Strengthen internal controls compliance and risk management processes
- Lead and performance-manage the finance team to achieve KPI targets
What were looking for:
- Qualified finance professional (CA(SA) SAIPA or CIMA)
- Strong experience in financial reporting controls and operational finance
- Exposure to procurement contracts or project-based environments
- Solid understanding of BOQ costing and supplier management
- Proven leadership ability and strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Hands-on solutions-driven and immediately available (or available on short notice)
