DescriptionThe Department of Pediatrics at the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member at the open rank to join its established Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. The successful candidate will be expected to provide independent inpatient and outpatient care including endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities- Teaching Duties: Participates in the educational and training activities of the USF Department of Pediatrics which include teaching of residents and medical students committee membership research and quality improvement projects lectures and grand rounds.
- Clinical Duties: Provides inpatient coverage at Tampa General Hospital for pediatric gastroenterology patients performs endoscopies and manages patients in the outpatient setting.
Qualifications- Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching academic research and service.
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Associate or Full Professor.
- For Associate/Full Professor - Normally will have produced creative work professional writing or research in refereed and other professional journals and be a recognized authority in the field of specialization.
- Candidate must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
