Job Summary
Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of college grounds andworking on a variety of maintenance projects. The incumbent will be expected to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions operate tools and equipment and contribute to a positive and safe work environment at all times.
Contract Dates: May-August 2026
Work Arrangement: Onsite in Medicine Hat Alberta
We currently have 1 open opportunity for energetic and capableGeneral Labour Summer Studentto help our maintenance team in a fully supervised environment.
Key Responsibilities:
You will provide general labour support for our client locations with respect to the maintenance and operations of their buildings.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Painting
- Landscaping and weeding
- Cleaning
- Filing or other administrative duties
Essential Qualifications:
- Good work ethic punctual and reliable
- Reliable transport to and from work; travel to work locations once on site will be provided. Potential for carpooling
- All safety equipment will be provided
- Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid Drivers License
Work Hour Availability Requirements
- 8:00 am 4:30 pm Mon-Fri
- Comfortable traveling with company vehicle - drivers license and drivers abstractis required
