The Money Transfer department is in charge of handling daily more than 85 billion cash flow payments in more than 50 currencies. Time is money - and in our Money Transfer department this is more than reality.
In Cash Processing and Investigation we are a team of about 30 people based in Brussels Hong Kong Singapore and Krakow performing the same tasks across the world.
The Money Transfer department has been undergoing a significant transformation over the past few years. This transformation includes the migration to the new ISO 20022 format which aims to improve efficiency compliance and security in financial messaging.
The transition involves the implementation of new platforms and applications such as the Open Payment Framework those changes require monitoring two systems and review of processes during the transition period.
We are looking for a Business Operations Function Analyst in Cash Processing & Investigation who will:
- Be responsible for accurately processing cash investigation cases and ensuring that they are treated followed up and closed in line with relevant procedures importance and timeliness.
- Be responsible for investigation activities after getting familiar with processing rules (polyvalence between Cash Processing and Cash Investigation required due to desynchronization linked to MT-MX dependencies).
- Handle operations often requiring research or investigation of information outside of normal procedures.
- Ensure that all cash processing and investigation activities align with relevant laws and regulations maintaining the highest standards of integrity and security.
- May work independently in operational teams.
- May also supply to projects or initiatives in the areas of operational efficiency risk quality regulatory and strategy.
- Be willing to discover a challenging career path during a time of fundamental changes in the Cash World.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Has a knowledge of processes of a domain or knowledge of several business domains.
- Leads by example by raising and solving problems applying continuous improvement principles.
- Contributes to knowledge sharing delivering training preparing and updating documentation (SOPs SLAs).
- Able to manage and resolve situations independently within established guidelines
- Actively chips in to the continuous improvement by running Problem Solving Sessions review of processes drafting and implementing new procedures that are implemented following managerial review.
- Showing impeccable demeanor and contribution to the wellbeing of the team.
- Can adequately report actions to management.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in other operational business domain collaborating with Cash Operations is required knowledge of Cash Operations will be a valuable bonus
- Good analytical and communication skills focused and eye for details.
- Collaborating with other teams to (help) solve problems and answer queries.
- Being at ease with working with people as well as independently
- A team-player attitude
- Strong contribution to whiteboard and CI initiatives.
- Ability to build good relationships with internal clients.
- Ability to handle several tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Be ready to work in shifts the function includes late shifts and employees must be available to work during these hours.
- Late shifts are compensated with an additional allowance
