Teacher Assistant - Special Education

Hayesville High School is seeking a dedicated EC Adapted Classroom Teacher Assistant to join our team as soon as possible!

If you have a heart for students with significant academic social and emotional needs and want to work in a positive caring team-oriented learning environment this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This position is a 1:1 assignment and includes a monthly stipend above regular pay as an incentive due to the significant level of support required. When the assigned student is not in attendance you will assist the classroom teacher in supporting other studentsallowing you to remain a full-time employee while continuing to make a meaningful impact.

Our EC Adapted Classroom team plays a vital role in helping students grow academically socially and emotionally each day. We are looking for someone who is compassionate dependable flexible and ready to make a difference in the life of a high school student.
