Job Summary
Visa Technology & Operations LLC a Visa Inc. company needs a Staff SW Test Engineer (multiple openings) in Atlanta Georgia to:
- Develop testing strategy for Gateway Services Applications and determine the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests.
- Ensure high levels of software quality and seamless code releases.
- Create manual test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Create maintain and update automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests employed.
- Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.
- Work with Development and other relevant teams to analyze debug and resolve design and software issues.
- Support cross-functional teams in integration test efforts.
- Develop software to augment existing test automation tools.
- Setup configure and maintain test environments.
- Hands-on testing on Linux and Windows platform.
- Work closely with test lead and test engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as needed.
- Collaborates with other teams to manage internal and external timelines and deliverables.
- Position reports to the Atlanta Georgia office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Software Test Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively employer will accept a Masters degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Test Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires experience in the following:
- Manual and automated software testing;
- Coding skills in Java;
- Software builds testing and continuous integration tools including Jenkins;
- Scripting using Linux Shell python;
- Software tools such as Selenium Junit. TestNG Cucumber Git Jira and Maven;
- Object-oriented programming distributed systems web technology (Jetty Apache) and network protocols (HTTP TCP/IP).

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $114400.00 to $183000.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
