Duties/Expectations: The Department of Microbiology and Molecular Biology (MMBIO) of Brigham Young University seeks to fill a full-time tenure-track position (assistant associate or full professor) in the medical laboratory science program beginning Fall semester 2026. Successful candidates will teach various MLS courses to undergraduate students. We seek an individual with a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in the medical laboratory science program (90% effort; teaching 18-21 credit hours per year). The candidate will also perform committee work which may consist of service on various departmental college and university committees (10% effort). In subsequent years these percentages could change based on departmental and university needs. Starting rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
