Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $73.11
Total Weekly Gross: $2631.96
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered obstetric care in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and assist physicians with obstetric care
Plan implement and document nursing care based on patient needs
Identify patient priorities through assessment planning intervention and evaluation
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans
Initiate assessments based on medical diagnosis and presenting conditions
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
Manage labor progression and monitor maternal/fetal status
Document care in accordance with standards of practice and patient acuity
Advocate for evidence-based nursing care and best practices
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
Perform additional duties as assigned
