We advise projects worldwide and are involved in some of the largest international PV projects (300-100MW) and in large hybrid projects with battery storage for off-grid and grid connected industrial customers.

Intern/Working Student (m/f/d) Instrumentation & Control and Renewable Energy Integration Support
What you can achieve with us:
- You help to accelerate the energy transition by providing technical advisory to institutions project developers and utilities supporting them from feasibility studies through project development execution operation and beyond
- You develop large-scale renewable power systems worldwide including reviewing technologies assessing energy yields optimizing system designs handling permitting and regulatory analysis conducting financial analysis and supporting project management
- You create specialized simulation tools i.e. to evaluate new renewable hybrid power plants and other special applications
- You research new renewable power applications evaluate business opportunities and help enforce their implementation
- You support the implementation of hybrid renewable energy projects that aim to decarbonize high-energy demand industries
- You optimize renewable generation and storage capacities create technical drawings of plant layouts and define technical specifications for projects
What convinces us:
- You are a student in a masters program related to renewable energy technologies (e.g. Bachelor in Instrumentation & Control Electrical Control Systems Engineering Mechatronics or comparable curricula following a consecutive master program)
- You study and live in Hamburg and you are willing to do at least a 2-month full-time internship with presence in our office and are willing to continue the internship as a working student activity alongside your studies
- You have first work experience in electrical or mechanical engineering in the renewable power sector with a strong understanding of control systems automation hardware and how I&C technologies are applied
- You bring expertise ingrid stability and dynamic analysismicrogrid control strategies both gridconnected and islanded modes andSCADA/EMS system expertise
- You have practical background in energy-management algorithms for solar and wind farms dispatch optimization solar and load forecasting PLC/RTU interface knowledge industrial communication protocols (Modbus IEC 61850 DNP3) EMShardware integration and EMS commissioning support
- Your skills include diligent and independent working attitude analytic and conceptual thinking
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written) fluent skills in German (speaking and writing) are beneficial
