- MBA / MS in Human Resource Management or a relevant field
- 812 years of HR experience including at least 5 years in an industrial/manufacturing environment (Textile or Sugar preferred)
- Experience managing multi-site operations
- Strong command over labor laws and industrial relations
- Strategic workforce planning expertise
- KPI design and performance management systems
- Leadership and negotiation skills
- High integrity and strong decision-making capability
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a group-wide HR strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Design organizational structures for plant and corporate functions and lead workforce planning and succession planning
- Manage factory labor matters including union handling and dispute resolution while ensuring full compliance with labor laws and regulatory frameworks
- Oversee contracts disciplinary procedures and grievance mechanisms
- Develop plant-level KPIs (production efficiency absenteeism cost per worker etc.) and implement structured performance appraisal systems aligned with productivity and performance
- Align compensation with productivity and performance and design salary structures and grading systems
- Lead hiring strategy for technical staff plant managers engineers finance teams and tech professionals and develop employer branding initiatives
- Reduce employee turnover and optimize retention strategies
- Oversee payroll benefits and incentive schemes and optimize HR cost as a percentage of revenue
- Implement HRIS systems and digitize attendance payroll and performance tracking
- Develop reporting dashboards for management review
- Build leadership pipeline within plants and corporate and develop training frameworks for operational and managerial staff
- Foster an accountability-driven performance culture
