Role Summary

The Finance Specialist will support the client-dedicated finance team with all areas of the finance function of the account including month-end reporting budgeting and forecasting ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for the Client Account Management team and to the JLL Corporate Finance Team.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare accurate client invoices and comprehensive supporting documentation ensuring timely billing and proper revenue recognition in accordance with contract terms

Conduct detailed payroll and disbursement cost analysis reviewing expenses for accuracy and compliance with client agreements and internal policies

Process manual journals and system uploads as requested by Finance Teams implementing proper validation checks to ensure complete supporting documentation

Execute comprehensive month-end closing procedures including balance sheet account reconciliations general ledger reviews and timely reporting to established deadlines

Manage bank account funding requirements and perform monthly reconciliations ensuring adequate cash flow and accurate financial position reporting

Generate month-end reports and perform E1-PS interface uploads including ASC 606 compliance reporting and revenue recognition documentation

Prepare general ledger reconciliations and complete SOX compliance checklists maintain internal control standards and audit readiness

Support E1/PS system setups and maintain Chart of Accounts ensuring accurate financial data structure and reporting capabilities

Monitor unposted transactions reports prior to month-end closing collaborating with Finance Manager to resolve outstanding items and ensure complete processing

Close accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger systems as directed by client teams ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

Review general ledger results and promptly communicate any discrepancies or issues to Finance Manager and Finance Manager for resolution

Support delivery of all the client and JLL financial deliverables related to contract requirements ensuring compliance with service level agreements

Develop and implement client reporting tools and enhancements improving efficiency and accuracy of financial communication and analysis

Provide responsive support to client-side finance teams addressing queries and information requests with professionalism and technical expertise

Identify change control requirements and initiate necessary processes ensuring proper documentation and approval of financial modifications

Coordinate project communications with stakeholders regarding financial status progress updates and issue resolutions to maintain transparency and accountability

Maintain accurate project schedule data cost information and performance indicators in integrated IT systems for comprehensive project tracking

Provide technical financial guidance and expert advice to local Facilities Managers on budget cost control and financial performance matters

Complete ad hoc assignments and special projects as requested by the manager demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team objectives

Job Prerequisites

Education & Certification: Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or Economics MBA or related professional certifications in finance discipline or equivalent.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar position working with international teams & clients.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reporting systems and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations) with a knowledge of internal controls.

Communication & Leadership: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership clients and cross-functional teams

Client-Focused Collaboration: Strong commitment to client service excellence with experience working in diverse fast-paced professional environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with E1 and Corrigo systems or similar enterprise resource planning platforms Background in real estate services facilities management or professional services industries Track record of process improvement and system implementation initiatives.
