Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring finished products are delivered at the highest possible quality standards that meet customer requirements and expectations while minimizing waste and maintaining scrap levels within the approved tolerance limit

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily walkthroughs on production lines to ensure operations are running according to the production plan and provide regular updates to direct management.
Review previous day production results and prepare a daily production performance report submitted to the Chairman.
Prepare detailed reports covering scrap rates and machine breakdowns for can production lines highlighting performance deviations.
Handle customer complaints received through management or sales department coordinate corrective actions through production process and conduct customer site visits when required.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for customer complaints and operational issues including on-site technical investigations to support effective decision-making.
Analyze quality inspection results and audit findings propose corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) and present recommendations to direct management.
Supervise raw material receiving process from suppliers and ensure compliance with quality standards; report findings to management.
Manage shift handover process ensuring all updates production data and operational issues are properly documented and communicated.
Investigate and support resolution of machine-related quality issues in coordination with maintenance and production teams.
Monitor raw material issuance from warehouse and finished goods delivery to finished goods warehouse in accordance with company policies and quality standards.
Supervise Quality Control Inspectors to ensure adherence to inspection procedures and standards.
Conduct random sampling inspections of finished cans across production lines to verify dimensional accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.
Prepare periodic operational reports covering production volume scrap rates and downtime analysis.
Oversee finished goods dispatch to customers and conduct final quality sampling to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
