You will report directly to ourEngineering Managerand youll work out of ourTucson AZlocation on anONSITE work schedule.
In this role you will impact the development of innovative mechanical systems and components ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards while enhancing the overall performance and functionality of our products. You will be apart of the Global Repair & Overhaul Engineering team supporting the Tempe aftermarket repair center.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the repair development process from concept to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications.
- Design and develop complex mechanical systems components and assemblies.
- Support production improvements in both Turn-Around-Time and cost savings.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics.
- At least 7 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools with experience in mechanical analysis and simulation tools.
- Experience with product testing and validation processes.
