Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will drive acquisition and growth of online merchants by onboarding e-commerce businesses marketplaces and digital platforms to the companys payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify prospect and onboard online merchants (e-commerce marketplaces subscription platforms etc.).
- Drive merchant acquisition to meet revenue and transaction volume targets.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key merchant partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to support seamless merchant integration.
- Monitor merchant performance retention and upsell opportunities.
- Track pipeline activity and provide regular performance reports. Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Finance or related field.
- 46 years experience in fintech payments or e-commerce business development.
- Strong understanding of online payments payment gateways APIs and merchant acquiring. - Proven track record in merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation presentation and stakeholder management skills
