Job Summary
Collision Center Assistant/Estimator
North Brothers Ford Collision Center inWestland Michigan is seeking an experienced Assistant/Estimator. At North Brothers Ford you will be an important instrument in making a customers bad day into an overall great experience. Our Assistant/Estimators are specialists in communication customer focus and attention to quality and details. They serve as a liaison between the customer and the insurance company to ensure that the vehicle repairs are done right the first time and on time when promised.
Responsibilities include:
- work closely with customers to repair vehicle as quickly as possible
- serve as a liaison between the customer and the insurance company
- coordinate with Certified Body Shop Technicians to ensure satisfactory completion
- quality control checks prior to customer taking delivery of vehicle
- process deductible or payments
- assist Management with daily/monthly closeout tasks
Requirements include:
- genuine desire to serve
- previous experience as an Assistant/Estimator
- ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- proficiency in Microsoft Office
- experience with CDK is a plus
- previous experience with CCC estimating software
- meticulous attention to detail
- consistent composure
- clean driving record
- ability to pass a background and drug test
