Position Information:

Providingsupport through verbal and written translations or interpretations.
Work with school staff to identify areas of concern and work with parents and students toaddress those may involve home visits at times that are convenient for the family.
Work with parents and students regarding school engagement issues motivation or otherbarriers to success.
Maywork with outside agencies to provide information about needed support for parents andstudents both here and as needed in the collaborative.
Work week will be approximately 35hours per weekMonday ï½ Friday with exact schedule and tasksdetermined by district student needs.
Hourly wages depending on education credentials from $20/hr to $26/hr.
Benefits include FICA and PERA contributions.

Qualifications:

Must be fluent in SpanishLanguage
Must be proficient in locally spoken English language.
No license is required.
High School Diploma or GED required; 60 semester credits/AA/AS degree or college graduation preferred; or an equavalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Experience interpreting or translating school information is preferred.

Pay Information:

$20/hr-$26//hr (Depending on Experience)
