Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control Driver in Lakeland FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Security Officer you will greet visitors verify credentials manage entry points monitor activity and complete routine patrols to help promote order and help deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and the public document observations and deliver service with integrity teamwork and a people-first approach. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Control access at entry points by checking identification verifying authorization issuing and/or collecting badges or passes and maintaining visitor vehicle and key control logs as required.
- Monitor alarms cameras and access control systems report irregular activity and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports and documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas entrances and the perimeter with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
