Who You Will Be Working With

At PMG our UI/UX team is focused on creating experiences that are as thoughtful and intuitive as they are beautiful. Central to this effort is our design system the backbone of consistent scalable and accessible digital experiences across our enterprise SaaS platform. We believe robust design systems are critical infrastructure that enables teams to deliver exceptional user experiences efficiently and at scale. Our focus is on building systems that bridge design and development ensuring every component is accessible user friendly and maintainable. You will lead strategic design initiatives strengthen our design systems practice and help define how artificial intelligence transforms modern marketing experiences.

This is a senior level design leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of systems thinking emerging technology and human centered design. You will collaborate with product engineering data science and AI experts to create intelligent scalable experiences that push the boundaries of what marketing technology can be.

We are looking for a design leader with deep expertise in design systems strong executional craft and demonstrated fluency in AI driven workflows including Figma Make large language models and modern AI powered design tools. Youll collaborate primarily with front-end engineers product teams and fellow designers as the technical bridge between design intent and production reality. Your focus will be on architecting scalable component systems establishing design-to-code workflows and ensuring every element of our design system serves both designer efficiency and developer experience.

What You Will Do

Strategic Design Leadership

• Lead the design of complex product experiences across the full lifecycle from discovery and research through delivery and iteration.

• Translate ambiguous ideas into structured workflows interaction models and detailed interface specifications.

• Guide cross-functional teams toward user-centered solutions that balance business goals technical feasibility and user needs.

• Clearly articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders across product engineering and executive leadership.

AI-Driven Experience Innovation

• Explore and apply AI/LLM capabilities to enhance product experiences within marketing technology.

• Leverage Figma Make and AI-powered design workflows to accelerate ideation prototyping and production.

• Design intelligent adaptive interfaces that thoughtfully incorporate automation predictive insights and generative capabilities.

• Collaborate with data and AI teams to shape user-facing experiences that responsibly leverage machine learning.

• Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools and methodologies to improve both the user experience and the design practice.

User Research & Validation

• Conduct and guide research efforts including user interviews usability testing and heuristic evaluations.

• Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design improvements.

• Utilize analytics and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing behavioral analysis) to optimize experience effectiveness.

• Ensure accessibility and inclusive design principles are embedded throughout the product.

Team & Practice Leadership

• Mentor and elevate junior designers through critique collaboration and design reviews.

• Contribute to the evolution of PMGs UX design standards and processes.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning experimentation and thoughtful risk-taking.

• Present work confidently to internal teams and senior stakeholders championing design excellence.

What You Will Bring

• 5 years of dedicated design systems experience in a role that was 100% focused on enterprise-level design systems.
• Must have experience scaling a system across multiple product teams and managing system architecture not just contributing components.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma including deep experience with libraries variants auto-layout and prototyping.
• Solid understanding of front-end technology fundamentals (HTML CSS and JavaScript) and experience with build tools package management and version control (Git).
• Ability to read and review code contribute to technical discussions and understand the implications of design decisions on performance and maintainability.
• Deep knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG) and practical experience applying them to component design.
• Experience working directly with engineers and familiarity with component development workflows and tools like Storybook.
• Demonstrated ability to think systematically about component relationships API design and system architecture.
• Experience making decisions about when to create new components vs. extending existing ones managing component complexity and balancing flexibility with consistency.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
