Job Summary
- Develop and implement project control strategies systems and processes to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead a team of project control professionals providing guidance mentorship and performance management
- Establish and monitor project budgets schedules and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Conduct regular project reviews and risk assessments implementing mitigation strategies as needed
- Analyze project performance data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Identify and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in project control methodologies
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in project execution
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clients contractors and government entities
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
- 15 years of experience in project control or related field with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Extensive experience managing large-scale complex projects in construction engineering and rail projects
- Advanced proficiency in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project Primavera P6) and Excel
- Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills with the ability to develop and manage project budgets
- Expertise in risk management performance metrics and KPI development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels
- In-depth understanding of local regulations and business practices in Saudi Arabia
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2 AACE International certifications) are a plus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including team management and mentoring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
