DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Project Manager II where youll lead important initiatives that help make the world healthier cleaner and this role youll oversee complex projects from initiation through successful delivery ensuring effective execution and stakeholder satisfaction. Youll coordinate cross-functional teams manage resources and timelines and implement process improvements while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to make meaningful contributions at a leading company serving science.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree with no experience required or Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience in project management preferably in a regulated/technical environment
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering Sciences Business or related field
Project Management certification (PMP PRINCE2 etc.) is a plus
Additional relevant certifications beneficial (e.g. Six Sigma Agile)
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite project management software and business systems
Strong financial and budget management capabilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality
Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies
Demonstrated leadership abilities in cross-functional team environments
Process improvement and change management experience
Strong customer focus and relationship management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a results-oriented environment
Willingness to travel up to 10-20% as needed
Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
Experience with quality management systems (GMP ISO) preferred
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in applicable industry
