The PAXLOVID Global HCP Lead role provides a unique opportunity to turn breakthrough science into everyday global impact.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The PAXLOVID Global HCP Marketing Lead will report to the Global Antivirals Marketing Lead. This is a position with global scope that will collaborate very closely with medical GAV BAI and US and ICO regional teams to shape the HCP strategy and execute the global promotional plan for PAXLOVID. The role requires strong strategic thinking executional excellence and experience in fostering extraordinary partnerships with cross functional colleagues around the world.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

The PAXLOVID Global HCP Lead will have role responsibilities that include but not limited to:

  • Spearhead global HCP promotional strategy including segmentation messaging competitive intelligence and RWE delivery.

  • Lead overarching messaging strategy and rollout which includes leveraging segmentation and market archetyping for maximum impact.

  • In partnership with CSI and US team lead competitive strategic direction including guidance for markets internal communications around key competitive updates and updating of key resources such as the CI playbook to ensure continued alignment with evolving market dynamics and competitor activity.

  • Advance RWE strategy for HCP promotion and execution including new resource development updates to DSP and other key resources.

  • Support Ibuzatrelvir global launch HCP initiatives (positioning campaign).

  • Lead Paxlovid Global LCM commercial strategy and tracking; lead label expansion communications and appropriate HCP resources (Peds/SRI).

  • Ensure robust KPIs are developed in partnership with ICO/US for all promotional initiatives; oversee tracking of metrics.

  • Contribute to a positive fun and collaborative team culture; innovate and inspire through courageous thinking resilience and agility.

  • Coach and mentor Senior Manager colleague who will be supporting HCP initiatives.

CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Establish strong working relationships with US and ICO teams to lead content co-creation garner insights on executional excellence and evolve the strategy accordingly.

  • Ensure any resources developed are aligned with and adaptable globally and duplications are minimized at local market level.

  • Build trusting and strong relationships that are anchored in shared understanding of business priorities and strategies.

  • Ensure timely delivery of the associated content and materials to regional teams and markets.

AGENCY MANAGEMENT

  • Work closely with global creative agency to develop messages and concepts in close coordination with medical & legal and collaboration with US and ICO Regional teams

  • Support the management of agency performance budget and ensure tracking and meeting of milestones.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

  • BA/BS with 8 years of experience.

  • Pharmaceutical experience with broad knowledge of the industry and healthcare environment.

  • Robust brand marketing experience at a Global/Regional or country level.

  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams in complex matrix environments.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).

  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead large and diverse cross-functional teams and country teams.

  • Strong strategic skills including effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g. new competition shifting market environment) and the ability to navigate complex and rapid-changing environments.

  • Understands trends in health care and pharmaceuticals; customer and stakeholder landscape competitive dynamics sources of business in the US and/or developed markets.

  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize asset/assets priorities value drivers and resource allocation required to optimize growth.

  • Agility: Insists upon sharing and cross-pollination of ideas. Demonstrated ability to decide / plan with limited information available and propose alternative scenarios or mitigation strategies.

Nice-to-Have

  • MBA/MS with 7 years of experience; OR PhD or JD with 5 year of experience.

  • Prior US experience.

  • HCP marketing experience.

  • Experience leveraging AI across various use cases such as optimization of insight generation segmentation targeting and messaging.

  • Experience leading competitive intelligence strategy and planning.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • International Travel 15-20%
