The opportunity

Responsible for Sales and Business development for assigned opportunities as capture team leader for that respect he leads the capture team secure the orders at or above GM and cash flow target for the assigned opportunities with an acceptable project risk profile. He also develops a long-term relationship and high level of intimacy with customers and external stake holders as assigned by his RSM. While doing so the Sales Manager is expected to work closely with the local management account managers front end sales representatives and to highly coordinate with PG bids and proposals. ensure Ethics & compliance directives are fully implemented and enforced within the region and embrace HE values and lead accordingly

How youll make an impact

  • Develop a high level of intimacy with customers key stakeholders developers and investors for the given opportunity.
  • Fully comply with the sales processes and utilization of sales force. Ensure that sales force is updated with reliable information several times a week for the assigned opportunity in order to make it the only reliable tool used for reporting
  • For each assigned opportunity he takes the role of CTL and is responsible for:
  • Ensure the follow up of the sales process from go no go to won lost analysis in line with RACI
  • Develop the right winning strategy toward the customer
  • Identify/select external partners with the full involvement of the PG and recommend key subcontractors with support of Internal stake holder.
  • Elaborate the target price with support of internal stake holders
  • Lead the elaboration of an optimized commercial proposal
  • Lead the negotiations with the aim of closing projects with the best possible conditions for HE at or above the approved margin and cash flow and acceptable risk profile.
  • Manage the assigned budget of the tender for the relevant opportunity with support of head of tendering
  • Ensure proper and accurate reporting to the management and in the CRM system
  • Ensure the timely approval of the tender by the risk committee up to the board as needed
  • Ensure proper handover to Operations in case the order is secured
  • Feedback Marketing & Product management with market data including awarded orders customer buying criteria evolution Win Loss analysis Competitors price and value propositions for his opportunities
  • Enhance HEs brand recognition worldwide by fully implementing the key pillars safety ethics and compliance and quality in daily business
  • Ensure full compliance with ethics and compliance guidelines and be a role model for the team
  • Insights and thoughtfulness about the business leading to right strategies
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Project Sales within largescale project businesses preferably in HVDC or within the Power Transmission / Energy industry.
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (masters degree is an advantage).
  • Demonstrated customer and market orientation within India with the ability to collaborate effectively on global projects.
  • Strong technocommercial acumen with the ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into commercially competitive offerings.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a strong drive for results and the ability to influence communicate and build networks across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in Englishboth written and spoken.
  • Role based in Gurugram India.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
