DescriptionAlutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services LLC (ALMS)has an exciting opportunity for anElectronics Control Systems Technician (SCADA) at Naval Air Station in Pensacola Electronics Control Systems Technician (SCADA) is responsible for the Installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of building control systems.
- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on all SCADA remote terminal units (RTUs) programmable logic controllers (PLCs) radios wiring antennas and enclosures utilized in the network
- Troubleshoots PLC and SCADA systems and equipment failures; analyzes and diagnoses problems
- Programs RTUs PLCs and radios to communicate with system software
- Implements new installations of equipment from electrical electronic controllers transmitters client devices peripherals etc.
- Tests and runs diagnostics to verify connectivity of equipment
- Deploys system patches and firmware
- Programs installs and tests switches routers modems and other network equipment
- Loads test batteries uninterrupted power supplies and tests and repairs charging systems
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Performs other related duties as require
Requirements- Five years of skilled level experience in SCADA related systems installation maintenance and/or repair; or any combination of education and/or experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities necessary for acceptable job performance
- Knowledge of Sixnet series automation and networking is a plus
Pay rate: $41.55 per hour
