Job Duties

To manage referrals for admission (can be day evening nights holidays and/or weekends) to include screening referrals for appropriateness providing information and referral services for those deemed not appropriate or those unable to be accommodated when beds are not available; communicating referral information within the Center; keeping referral and admission statistics.

Minimum Qualifications

Understanding of Code of Virginia relating to child mental health issues
Good interpersonal skills/ability to relate to a variety of community agency representatives
Effective written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Proficient with the use of computers
Knowledge & understanding of CSA and mental health resources for children and adolescents
