Job Summary

A large and well-organised 1118 secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a meticulous and proactive HR & Staffing Administrator to join its central administration team. This is a key role within the schools business and operations team supporting recruitment safeguarding checks and ongoing HR administration.

The Role
As HR & Staffing Administrator you will work closely with the School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team to ensure that all staffing processes are compliant efficient and well-documented.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing safer recruitment processes from advert to appointment
Coordinating DBS checks and maintaining the Single Central Record
Preparing contracts offer letters and induction documentation
Monitoring staff absence records and maintaining HR files
Supporting payroll preparation and data reporting
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and employment legislation

Accuracy confidentiality and attention to detail are essential in this role.
