About the Role
The school is looking for an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to deliver consistently high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. You will play a key role in maintaining the departments excellent academic outcomes and inspiring students to develop curiosity and practical scientific skills.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching Biology at KS3 GCSE and A Level
Planning and delivering engaging enquiry-led lessons
Supporting students academic progress with assessment and intervention
Contributing to enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs science fairs and Olympiads
Collaborating with colleagues for curriculum development and moderation
The Ideal Candidate
QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Degree in Biology or related discipline
Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Biology desirable
Strong subject knowledge and practical science skills
Excellent classroom management and communication
Commitment to student development and enrichment
