The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the ABCs Sydney Metro property portfolio - a diverse and dynamic environment that supports Australias national broadcaster every is a backfill contract term where youwill supportthe operations maintenance and continuous improvement of the Sydney facilities ensuringtheyresafe sustainable and aligned with the ABCs corporate strategy.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing theplannedpreventativemaintenance repair and operation of buildingsplant and equipment.
- Overseeing hard services such as HVAC electrical fire liftsBMSand other key facility services.
- Monitoringsustainability initiatives and implementing best-practice environmental and energy systems.
- Monitoring contractor performance and compliance across essential services building systems and statutory certifications.
- Ensuring all contractor activities meet ABC WHS policies and safety standards.
- Conducting regular property inspections audits andmaintainingaccuraterecords and drawings.
- Supporting budgeting procurement and expenditure control.
- Participating in emergencymanagementasmember of the Emergency Planning Committee.

About You
Yourean experiencedfacilityor property professional with a strong understanding of building operations and maintenance in complex environments. You combine technicalexpertisewith excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills ensuring the ABCs workplaces are safe efficient and welcoming.
Your skills and experience include:
- Broad knowledge of building services including electrical mechanical hydraulic UPS and generator systems.
- Proven experience managing contractors compliance and safety processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement communication and customer service focus.
- Soundfinancial managementskills including budgeting forecasting and procurement.
- A proactive approach to sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading orparticipatingin emergency response and planning activities.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work full-time on site and after hoursand to an on-call arrangement(asrequired) as under the Enterprise Agreement.
- Possession of a current and valid drivers license.
