What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings platforms lots access points and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
• Monitor entrances and controlled access areas check identification and/or credentials as directed and assist with visitor management and contractor check-in processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including dispatching assistance providing clear directions and documenting actions taken.
• Complete detailed shift activity reports and incident documentation report hazards and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel and help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 years of security experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
