Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Conyers GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech media and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will support access control practices act with integrity and contribute to a caring team-driven culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a tech media and/or telecom location.
- Carry and maintain authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with post orders training and applicable laws escalating concerns through the chain of command.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking areas building perimeters and access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related hazards.
- Monitor access control points and surveillance systems as assigned document routine activity and incidents and complete clear written reports and notifications per policy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security experience or a college degree.
- Have 5 years of security experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
