Shift: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (07:00 AM 03:30 PM)
Compensation
Weekly Gross Pay: $2814
Position Summary
An established healthcare facility is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. The technologist will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety image quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by providers
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely and effectively
Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards (ALARA) and infection control protocols
Verify patient identity and clearly explain imaging procedures
Monitor patients during exams and respond appropriately to adverse reactions
Document procedures accurately in EMR and PACS systems
Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to support optimal patient care
Required Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
ARRT (R) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography certification (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required or preferred per facility)
