Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York NY 10029
Duration: 9 Weeks Schedule: 5 Days/Week (37.5 Hours)
Shift: Sun 7:30 AM4:00 PM MonThu 12:00 PM8:00 PM
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures and position patients for optimal imaging
- Review safety screenings and educate patients
- Ensure accurate image quality labeling and PACS submission
- Document studies and maintain records in RIS
- Maintain MRI equipment room cleanliness and safety standards
- Assist with scheduling documentation and physician support
- Follow infection control and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and MR physics
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (preferred)
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- NY State License (Required)
- ARRT (MRI) Certification (Required)
- BCLS Certification (Required)
