Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal)

Summary/Objective:

Video Board DakStats Operator is responsible for maintaining and displaying accurate scoring and statistics of games through the Daktronics scoreboard and statistics software.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Demonstrated expert-level ability and knowledge of Daktronics DakStats scoring software.
• Operate scoring equipment to feed all baseball scoring information as needed to Constellation Field displays and monitor the progress of the game.
• Prepare and download the home and visiting lineups and stats prior to gates opening.

Education and/or Experience & Skills:

• Minimum one-year professional experience with baseball scoring software.
• Extensive knowledge of the game of baseball for quickness of scoring.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work non-standard hours including nights weekends holidays and commit to 25 or more events as needed.

Preferred Qualities:

• Two or more years of experience with Daktronics DakStats software.

Work Environment

The position will perform work in a stadium office and local community environment where noise/crowd levels greatly vary. The position is subject to varying temperatures and weather extremes.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand sit walk reach stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk and hear. The vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Nature of position requires physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.

Travel

Travel is not expected for this position.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Ability to work a flexible schedule including extended hours evenings weekends and holidays.
