About the Team
The Public Realm and Safety Service plays a vital role in keeping Lambeth safe confident and prepared. Our team leads on public safety emergency planning CCTV operations and Corporate Health & Safety acting as a central hub for specialist advice operational leadership and strategic resilience planning across the council.

About the Role
As the Head of Incident Management and Emergency Planning you will provide strategic and operational leadership across emergency planning CCTV functions and Corporate Health & Safety. You will oversee the development of emergency plans lead the councils incident management capability and ensure compliance with key statutory and regulatory duties.
In this role you will drive continuous service improvement lead complex change programmes and develop a culture of high performance and accountability. You will manage a multidisciplinary team build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders and act as a senior ambassador for Lambeth in local and regional forums. This is a high impact leadership role that requires vision resilience and the ability to influence across a wide range of operational and strategic environments.
