Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies on distributed systems at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable fault-tolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software
About the team
International Credit CardS (ICCS) Team team owns Cobranded Credit Cards (CBCC) tech charter for UK JP and DE markets. This charter encompasses end to end customer experience to acquire CBCC customers in these markets including discovery sign-up and activation of Amazon cobranded credit cards. Along with this the team also owns the charter for engagement and servicing of these customers through features such as Instalments Existing card member page and other features. This role requires interaction with bank partners for testing and verification of end to end customer flows.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
