This isafull-time 9-monthposition.Theprimary responsibilities in this position will be toteachfinancecoursesand serve as theDirector of the Certificate in Financial Planning.The role will involve teaching a 3-course load(9 credit hours)for the fall and spring semesterswithat least3 credit hours inthe financial planning certificate recruiting and placement of students working with a board of advisors managing the resources and budget managing experiential learning projects and working on other matters for the Certificate in Financial Planningandmaintainingthe CFP Board registered statusof the certificate.If the candidate does not have a CFP certification or CFA charter then the candidate will be encouraged to obtain one of these designations.
Masters degree inbusinessora relateddiscipline from a regionally accredited college or university.
Practical experience in thefield of financial planningorinvestments.
Prior experience teaching.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills asevidencedin teaching evaluations.
