Job Summary
Employnet is looking for an experienced Maintenance and repair mechanic
Job duties include assisting with facilities related preventative maintenance and repairs performing preventative maintenance and repairing production equipment/machinery.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Basic hand tools
- Fabrication experience (welding machining metal fabrication and/or wood shop)
- The ability to work with power tools
- CA Drivers License
- The ability to climb ladders crouch kneel lift up to 50LBS and stand/be on foot for long periods of time
- A strong understanding of mechanical systems such as: electrical motors pneumatics hydraulics pumps air compressors; in an industrial setting
- The ability to do moderate plumbing HVAC drywall install/repairs painting and EMT conduit
- A working understanding 120v/240v single phase electrical service
- A working understanding of 208/240/480 3 phase electrical service
- An understanding of electrical components (fuses sensors relays limit switches etc) and how to diagnose issues with a multimeter
- The ability to perform elevated work (ladder and boom lift)
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal - BILINGUAL A PLUS
- Strong troubleshooting/diagnostic skills across a large variety of types of equipment
- The ability to work overtime/outside of production hours as needed
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D minimum
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5:45AM-4:15PM with occasional overtime after hours or Friday-Sunday dependent on production needs.
Must pass drug screen and background check.
