Job Summary:
The Enterprise Architect role involves establishing and evolving an Enterprise Architecture Framework for the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD). This role requires aligning IT strategies with business goals defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture developing technology roadmaps and ensuring architectural standards are followed. The architect will collaborate with various stakeholders assess technology risks and support project delivery teams.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align IT strategies with business goals.
- Defining documenting and maintaining the enterprise architecture across business data application and technology domains.
- Developing technology and architecture roadmaps for system evolution.
- Establishing and enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
- Ensuring effective system integration and interoperability.
- Evaluating and rationalizing the application portfolio.
- Identifying opportunities for business process optimization and automation.
- Assessing the impact of architectural changes and supporting change management.
- Producing and maintaining architecture artifacts and technical documentation.
- Collaborating with the Government of New Brunswick (GNB) Enterprise Architecture Program.
- Communicating architectural concepts to stakeholders.
- Identifying assessing and mitigating architectural and technology risks.
- Supporting project delivery teams with architectural guidance.
- Evaluating emerging technologies and their impact.
- Embedding security privacy and compliance requirements into designs.
- Establishing a clear governance structure.
- Creating a centralized architecture documentation repository.
- Developing a comprehensive current-state assessment.
- Producing short- and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Maintaining an inventory of applications.
- Mapping key business processes.
- Identifying and analyzing architectural risks.
- Defining a structured approach for communicating architectural direction.
Required Skills & Certifications:
