Job Summary
Job Title: Validation Engineer

The salary for this role is $65000 to $90000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Job Description:
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Establishes vehicle level attributes and requirements.
- Leads problem solving engineering issues.
- Expert in CANalyzer Somat Dewsoft.
- Responsible for EV vehicle testing and troubleshooting.
- Expert in OTA OTI & electrical testing.
- Manages validation planning and execution including engine and vehicle builds.
- Expert working on heavy trucks class 5 & 8
- Must require CDL license to drive school bus and heavy truck.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering Engineering Technology
- At least 5 years of experience in product vehicle testing.
Desired Skills
- Aptitude for troubleshooting issues in an ambiguous environment.
- Ability to identify root cause contain and permanently correct engineering issues.
- EV and/or Diesel experience is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills in-person on the phone and by email.
- Well-versed in commercial class 8 fleet trucks trailers and on-highway norms.
- Knowledgeable of DoT requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
- Familiar with Calibration tools like INCA and Canalyzer.
- Familiar with performing software updates with service tools like Cummins InSIte SDS or other service tools.
- Familiar with CAN based data links and communication proto
